Yacht Delivery NZ was established in 2002 and has been safely and successfully delivering vessels throughout the Pacific oceans since. We have a small team of highly experienced and qualified mariners with a large ranging skillset.
We have covered hundreds of thousands of nautical miles and have a proven track record of getting boats safely from a to b. Our passages have ranged from short coastal deliveries, to ocean crossings spanning continents and thousands of miles.

I have known Mat Collicott for a number of years. Mat is a highly competent yacht skipper and offshore sailor. He delivered our 46ft catamaran from Picton to Tahiti which is a very challenging voyage and the boat was delivered in pristine condition. I would highly recommend him to anybody wishing to have a boat delivered to any Pacific address.

Yacht Delivery NZ has delivered our baby to and from the Pacific several times in the past few years. They have provided an exceptional service, with very experienced crew. They have saved us time due to their knowledge about cats and their handling needs. Mat helped prep the boat, and kept us well informed of any issues that arose. When it came time for hand-over, our boat was in better condition than before, clean and tidy. Mat is very respectful and a great communicator. We appreciated the frequent feed-back while travelling.

Mat came highly recommended to us, and I can see why. He worked tirelessly to get us out of a significant mess. We needed a boat we’d never seen, (long unmaintained) relocated from Whitianga to Auckland. Mat’s decades of professional maritime experience and ‘can do’ attitude meant he confidently tackled a host of issues – mechanical, electrical, fouling etc , to first get this boat safe to move, and then relocated in a timeframe that worked for us. He did what he said he would do, when he said he’d do it, with fair pricing and no surprises. He was reassuringly communicative and professional throughout. I’d definitely use Mat and Boom Charters’ services again. A+ service.

Yacht Delivery New Zealand was recommended to us by someone we trusted. Mat and his first mate did an impeccable job, they sailed the boat in good time and cleaned her while waiting to enter Auckland marina. He offered a very relaxed, friendly service yet very professional. His knowledge of boats and sailing is very impressive. It was the first time we allowed someone else to sail our boat and we felt very safe to let our boat be delivered by Mat. We surely recommend him for any work concerning boats and we will certainly ask him again to deliver our boat if necessary.

I own a Townson 35 generally kept at Pine Harbour. I live in Tauranga and due to work commitments was unable to sail it down. I contacted Mat to ask if he could attend to this. Mat was most helpful. He addressed all issues without fuss. I didn’t even need to meet him at the yacht. He handled the whole process with little input from myself. The trip went without hitch and with Mat sending txts on progress. On arrival Mat left the yacht with nothing for me to attend to but with some suggestions of things that he felt needed attention. I would happily recommend Mat for any boat delivery.
